Just a stone’s throw away from the towering Mt Timpanogos and the snow-capped mountains in Utah County, this residential project was a perfect showcase of the VP (Vertical Pour) connector tie system.
The homeowner wanted to lower their heating and cooling costs with their home renovation while building something to last several generations. There’s a lot of concrete in this project… a swimming pool, built-in hot tub, spacious concrete decks and even a thick suspended concrete slab to extend the kids’ play area underneath the garage. Most of the concrete used throughout the project was insulated and constructed using the VP connector ties.
